so heidi and corey--your engagement photos are the very first photography post on my new official website's blog! lucky you :) these two scheduled their session the same weekend that we had the craaaazy flooding, and they were driving all the way from Rochester, MN.....so we played a little bit of "should we" or "shouldn't we" via e-mail. But they were up for adventure come rain or shine and we went for it anyway--the minute we started shooting the clouds went away and the sun came out. seriously, it must be a sign :) okay, enough of my cheesiness--enjoy this sneak peek from their session, i'm pretty darn proud of these ones!
for this following photo we borrowed a table and chair set on display in front of an antique store...we did have someone come and check on us to see what we were up to :) don't worry, we put them back--thanks little antique store in lake benton for the great photo props

corey's grandparents came along to watch some of the fun, and suggested we take some photos at this old cabin near the park--thanks grandma and grandpa!

this couple was soooo fun, as you can see! i cannot wait to shoot their wedding next september in Minneapolis at the Basilica of St. Mary, and then off to the reception at the Target Field (yep, that's right! awesome? agreed.)
